Why pregnant Olivia Culpo is fighting with her sisters after baby shower drama

Christian McCaffrey’s wife Olivia Culpo’s baby shower turned into a family fiasco, creating tension between the influencer and her sisters. 

According to Aurora Culpo, who spoke on her Casual Chaos podcast on Monday, May 5, a major fallout occurred between the sisters after Olivia, 32, allegedly told Aurora not to come to her baby sprinkle in Denver, citing its small size and the fact that her sis would have to travel a long distance.

“She literally texted me on Wednesday being like, ‘Don’t worry about coming. I know it’s like really out of the way. It’s like a flight, it’s just gonna be super small, like you’re going to my other shower. Don’t worry about coming to this little thing,’” she revealed on the podcast.

Aurora, 35, ultimately chose not to attend, and she wasn’t the only sister to pull out. Sophia, 28, also canceled due to a wedding conflict, which then led to Olivia’s frustration. 

“[Olivia] lost it on us, like, ‘We’re the worst sisters. The bar is this low. I do everything for you guys, you do nothing for me,’” Aurora said in the episode. “Which is, by the way, not true at all. She just, like, has a complex about thinking she does everything for everybody. And anyway, I just kept sending her the screenshot where she was like, ‘You don’t have to come.’”

The tension has lingered, with Aurora revealing that Olivia has not spoken to Sophia in three weeks, and that thing’s aren't the same between the trio. Despite the emotional strain, Aurora believes her sister, who is expecting her first child with McCaffrey, will eventually come around. "She’s very, very pregnant, emotional. I think she’s gonna get over it," Aurora said.

Olivia’s due date is expected to be sometime in the fall or early winter. Her and the NFL star announced they were expecting via Instagram in March 2025 after tying the knot 9 months earlier in Rhode Island.
