The Toronto Maple Leafs have their new first-string goalie.
Sergei Bobrovsky is going to sign with the Leafs, according to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman.
Friedman followed up by reporting that the deal is for three years at $7 million annually.
It's a massive signing.
Bobrovsky is only a year removed from winning back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Florida Panthers.
Now, he's coming to Toronto.

Why did the Maple Leafs sign Sergei Bobrovsky?
Simply put, Toronto wanted an upgrade in goal.
He's won two Vezina Trophies in his career, and he has 456 career wins in goal in the NHL.
Bobrovsky's career marks of a 2.61 goals against average and 91.2 save percentage are much better than he had in 2025-26 (3.07, 87.7%).
He'll turn 38 in September.
How does this impact goalie depth chart?
Toronto still has Anthony Stolarz and Dennis Hildeby, but their pursuit of Bobrovsky is a loud and clear signal about what they think about that depth chart.
Hildeby may have to be traded to get this done.
