Joshua Palmer was meant to be the big free agent answer at the wide receiver position for the Buffalo Bills.
Instead, he's been rather disappointing.
Even more disappointing, he's not even playing in Week 8.
The Bills ruled Palmer out for their 1 p.m. Sunday matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

Why isn't Josh Palmer playing today?
Josh Palmer isn't playing on Sunday because he's injured.
Palmer hurt his ankle against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6.
He was considered week to week at the time of the injury.
The Bills had a Week 7 bye week, giving Palmer time to recover without a game.
But Palmer still didn't get on the practice field in preparation for Week 8, making him clearly unavailable even before his official out designation.
Without Palmer, the Bills' WR depth is tested a bit. Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir lead the group.
Palmer's absence should lead to more snaps for Elijah Moore, Tyrell Shavers and Curtis Samuel.
The Bills would be wise to lean on their running game with James Cook as they try to figure out how to unlock some more productivity out of their wide receiver room.
