The President of the United States is considered the leader of the free world and the most important person in the country. At the end of the day, the President is still a normal person who lives in the United States and sometimes needs a break to unwind.
It isn't rare for sitting presidents to attend sporting events. It was a long-standing tradition that the President would throw out the first pitch at a Nationals game. President Trump became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl by showing up at the 2025 Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Eagles.
President Trump was always an avid sports fan, including a high affinity for both professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. Also a WWE Hall of Famer, he has attended UFC events in the past and continued the trend despite currently serving in office.

Here is more on President Trump attending UFC 316.
President Trump's entrance at UFC 316
Being the President of the United States, everywhere that President Trump goes has to be heavily secured. He sat in a box at the Super Bowl, but he wanted to be amongst the fans at UFC 316. He and White walked to the octagon together, but it is unclear what his walkout song was from the video. It didn't sound like it was anything punny with his being the President. Trump and White walked to the ring, the President high-fived fans and they ended up sitting ringside for the event.

Will UFC President Dana White get into politics?
White maintains that he has no intention of getting into the world of politics, but he was an avid supporter of Trump's during the 2024 election cycle. Despite the plethora of cabinet roles that have popped up and since been filled, White maintains that he has no interest in any possible position.
He told Sports Business Journal, "I’m in the fight business, which is the dirtiest, nastiest business. We all hate each other and we’re all fighting every day. There is nothing dirtier than politics. It’s disgusting. It’s gross. I want nothing to do with it."
