Twitch streamer Imane "Pokimane" has responded to those asking her why she hasn't started a family. On November 5, 2025, a one-minute-30-second video from the content creator's recent Just Chatting livestream was posted on X. In the clip, while Pokimane was interacting with her live audience, she noticed some viewers asking her why she "didn't have kids yet."

While describing these comments and sentiments as "uterus watching," the Moroccan-Canadian personality said:

"You know, people who come in, and they're like, 'Why don't you have kids yet?' Stuff like that... someone said I'm pushing 35, I said that's six years away. And I find it really odd because... I don't think there is an issue with not even wanting kids. But, I actually want kids. So, why are you... Okay, how about this? You know the term 'pocket watching'? When you're paying too much attention to what someone else is spending their money on? It's kind of like uterus watching. Like, pu**y watching. Why do you care if there's a baby in my uterus?"

The Twitch streamer added:

"Shouldn't you, like, go get a partner and worry about their uterus? Yeah, oh, my god! Womb watching. That's much more eloquent than what I said. Thank you so much. Isn't that odd, though? I find that odd."

Pokimane recently called out a man who announced his engagement after messaging her "for months"

Pokimane made headlines on November 3, 2025, when she posted a video in which she called out a man who had announced his engagement after messaging her "for months." Expressing her dissatisfaction with the situation, the co-founder of OfflineTV (OTV) stated:

"Tell me why this guy has been DM'ing me for months? Trying to link up. Responding to my outfit pics, etc. And he just announced his engagement on Instagram. And it pisses me off because it's that grey area of, like, I don't that this warrants messaging the girl and being like, 'Hey, girl!' But also it's f**king odd! Then again, maybe they're in an open relationship? I don't fricking know."

Pokimane is a Twitch veteran who has been broadcasting on the Amazon-owned livestreaming platform since June 2013. As of this writing, the 29-year-old boasts 9,401,107 followers and averages over 3.4k viewers per stream.
