Cam Skattebo's Sunday got off to a great start.
The New York Giants' rookie running back smoked a linebacker on a wheel route and caught an 18-yard touchdown from Jaxson Dart.
The day for Skattebo and the Giants soon took a bad turn, though.
The Eagles took a 14-7 lead, and then Skattebo got hurt.

Why isn't Cam Skattebo playing?
Cam Skattebo is out for the day after a nasty injury.
He went down late in the first half with a foot/ankle issue. It was a visually difficult injury to look at for those around the scene.
The cart had to come out to get Skattebo. The Giants were clearly distraught.
He was carted off with his right ankle in an air cast, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"Players don't even want to look," wrote ESPN's Jordan Raanan on X.
SNY's Connor Hughes added this: "Jaxson Dart was screaming after he turned around and saw Cam Skattebo's foot. The cart is out. A ton of #Giants players turned around after they saw the injury. This is about as gruesome as it gets."
He might not play for a while.
