Opening Day had to wait until Friday in Toronto.
But finally, the Blue Jays are back. They're hosting the Athletics in the first Toronto MLB game since Game 7 of the World Series.
The Jays got so close to winning the whole thing, but a Miguel Rojas tying homer and a Will Smith winning homer gave the Dodgers the back-to-back crown.
Now, the Blue Jays enter a new season trying to take that one final step.
It all starts Friday night.
It just might not start on time. The Opening Day festivities could drag on for a while.

Why is the Blue Jays' game delayed?
The Blue Jays aren't starting on time because of the Opening Day pregame ceremonies.
"It looks like the ceremony will start around 7:00 tonight, so first pitch will obviously be a little later," MLB.com's Keegan Matheson wrote on X on Friday afternoon.
The Athletic's Mitch Bannon chimed in on that: "Or a lot later."
What time do Blue Jays gates open?
The gates open at 5 p.m.
What time is first pitch?
Blue Jays first pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m.
That seems unlikely to be reality.
