A first-of-its-kind WNBA All-Star Game resulted in a first-of-its-kind performance.
With new rules implemented in the 2025 iteration of the All-Star event, a few players took full advantage. With 4-point shots and a shorter shot clock, the pace was torrid and the scoring was high, resulting in Team Collier earning a 151-131 win over Team Clark.
A host of players from both sides notched double figures, but it was one member of Team Collier who stood out above the rest, taking home the MVP hardware in the process.

— Minnesota Lynx (@minnesotalynx) July 20, 2025It was an efficient night at the office for Collier, who scored 36 points on 13-of-16 shooting from the field, including 4-of-5 shooting from distance. The presence of the 4-point shot helped the record, as Collier took advantage by draining a few from the marker.
Collier winning the honor is fitting, as she was captain of her eponymous team. She becomes the first member of the Lynx franchise to win All-Star MVP honors since Hall of Famer Maya Moore did so three consecutive times.
Collier is also the first frontcourt player to win the award since Moore.
