It's a huge day for the Denver Broncos, and they're doing it without Bo Nix.
The Broncos host the AFC Championship Game on Sunday without their star second-year quarterback due to injury.
It means that to beat the New England Patriots, they'll have to rely on a backup who hasn't thrown a pass since 2023. Nix had been fully healthy in his first two NFL seasons up to this point.
A spot in the Super Bowl depends on QB2.

Who's playing QB for the Broncos today?
The Broncos' starting quarterback on Sunday is Jarrett Stidham.
He was actually once a fourth-round draft pick of the New England Patriots out of Auburn.
He also hosted Nix on his Auburn visit when Stidham was in college and Nix was a recruit.
Why isn't Bo Nix playing today?
Bo Nix is out with an injury for the rest of the playoffs.
He fractured his ankle on the final drive of the win over the Buffalo Bills. He didn't come out of the game, and the injury was revealed about an hour after the game when Denver head coach Sean Payton returned to the press conference space to share the bummer information.

Broncos QB depth chart
The Broncos have three QBs healthy without Nix:
- Jarrett Stidham
- Sam Ehlinger
- Ben DiNucci
Stidham will play as long as he remains healthy.
Ehlinger, out of Texas, has been with the Broncos throughout the season and would be prepared to step in if needed.
DiNucci just joined the practice squad this week as emergency insurance.
