The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly trading wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., but we do not know exactly who is acquiring him yet.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals informed the former top-10 pick that he is going to be traded and will be inactive on Sunday as a result.
However, the NFL insiders did not name the team he will be traded to, which leaves us on the edge of our seats.
"Breaking: the Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a deal to trade WR Marvin Harrison, sources tell me and (Ian Rapoport)," Schefter wrote. "The team informed Harrison this morning that he will be inactive for Sunday’s game vs Detroit as details of the trade are finalized."
Who is trading for Marvin Harrison Jr.?
In the wake of that report, Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio is hearing in league circles that the team acquiring Harrison might be the Houston Texans.
"The current chatter in league circles is that Harrison will land in Houston, where he’d be reunited with former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud," Florio said.
Another report revealed one team that will not be making a trade for Harrison: the Indianapolis Colts.
"It’s NOT the Colts, per source. Cardinals were asking for a second round choice and more," ESPN's Stephen Holder reported.
A trade to the Texans makes sense, as Houston is in need of more help at wide receiver.
Now, we wait for confirmation.
