Popular internet dog Raffie has passed away due to a heart attack on Christmas Eve. Raffie's owner, Maren Peeters, shared the tragic news in an official statement.

In a video shared on her TikTok account, bundleofbullies, Maren Peeters told her followers that her dog Raffie, who was a popular animal influencer on the internet, passed away after a major attack from her other dog, Pickles. She said:

"I’m in Austria on holiday. Every time I am going on a holiday or going away for a few days, my dogs always go to the same daycare. I brought all of my dogs to this daycare, and one day after I brought them, I got a call. The owner wanted to put the dogs outside, and Pickles wanted to attack Raffie."

She further explained the circumstances that led to Raffie's death and added:

"But, Raffie immediately fell dead to the ground. Heart attack. Died. The owner of the daycare immediately did CPR on Raffie. Pickles wanted to attack further, so Odin stepped in. Odin is Raffie’s best friend, and he protected him. Odin almost died. They managed to put Pickles away, to fight him off, but Raffie was no more. Raffie is dead. I can’t believe it. I still cannot believe it."

Odin and Pickles are two of Maren Peeters' other bulldogs. They also heavily feature on her TikTok and other social media handles.

Maren Peeters shares details about Raffie's death and her other dogs' condition

In a subsequent update on Instagram after her first TikTok video, Peeters shared that her other dog, Odin, who tried to save Raffie's life, was taken to the hospital soon after. However, he is in critical condition as of now.

"Odin is close to death. My heart breaks. The treatment costs €5,000. I don’t want to ask for donations, but I feel compelled now. Could you please help Odin?," she wrote.

In her aforementioned TikTok video detailing how Raffie died, Maren Peeters also mentioned that such incidents have never happened when her dogs are with her. She said:

"I cannot live without Raffie. Let’s not forget that Odin tried to save the life of his best friend. And let’s be clear, they never did anything like that when they’re with me. They always stay together."

Speaking about her dog, she thanked her followers for showing him love:

"I want to thank everyone for the love they gave him. I know he felt it. And, of course, I'm going to continue [the videos] with the other bullies for Raffie."
