The 2027 college football recruiting cycle has been extremely active heading into the 2026 season, with plenty of big names coming off the board as well as surprise teams seeing their rankings rise as well.

In the 2027 class, there are currently 32 5-Star prospects on the board, and a little more than half of them have announced their commitments. That leaves 11 uncommitted 5-Stars, including three top-10 prospects in no. 2 overall ranked CB John Meredith, no. 7 WR Monshun Sales, and no. 9 CB Joshua Dobson.

There have been several expert predictions placed on the majority of the remaining prospects, with the already first-ranked team in 2027, Texas A&M, trending towards multiple. Here are the remaining uncommitted 5-Star prospects according to On3.

Where they are trending

Starting with Texas A&M, they’ve been given a prediction for four of the 11 5-Star prospects. CB Joshua Dobson, IOL Albert Simien, LB Kaden Henderson, and WR Eric McFarland are all trending towards the Aggies, with three of them having been on campus for visits. Texas A&M has the number one-ranked class with five 5-Star prospects already committed.

At the top, John Meredith has been given a prediction of Texas by three of On3’s four recruiting insiders. He took one official and another unofficial visit to Austin.

There have been two predictions placed on WR Monshun Sales thus far, and both of them have him landing with Indiana. He is from Indianapolis, where he played at Lawrence North High School. He’s taken six unofficial visits to Bloomington and his official visit.
