White House communications director Steven Cheung shared half-naked photos Thursday of a man he claims is former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill), suggesting they were posted on the gay dating app, Grindr.
“Literally you,” Cheung wrote in the X post with the salacious photos.
“Adam Kinzinger loves showing off his tattoo on GRINDR,” read a caption on the images, some which appear to have been taken from the vanishing-photo app Snapchat.
The face of the person in the images is not visible — and The Post could not confirm the pictures are authentic.
The graphic suggests the tattoo Kinzinger has of a US Air Force pilot’s badge matches the one on the person in the purported Grindr photos.
Kinzinger’s tattoo, however, is on his right arm, while the unidentified person appears to have the tattoo on their left arm.
Cheung and reps for Kinzinger did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
The White House official leveled the allegations against Kinzinger, who is married and has a young child, after the ex-congressman criticized Republicans for not denouncing President Trump’s White House ballroom project.
“Will not a single elected Republican speak up,” Kinzinger wrote on X, including footage of the East Wing of the White House being demolished to make way for the ballroom.
Cheung, who is known to tear into media figures, fired back: “The ballroom is going to look so spectacular. Even your simple and dumb ass will want to go.”
Kinzinger responded by seemingly mocking Cheung’s appearance, sharing a zoomed in image of the Trump aide’s face with the caption, “literally you.”
That’s when Cheung shared the purported images of Kinzinger, semi-clothed.
Kinzinger is a longtime Trump critic.
He was one of two Republicans – the other being former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) – to serve on the House panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol.
Kinzinger voted to impeach Trump in 2021 over the president’s alleged role in the riot. He left Congress after not seeking re-election in 2022.
