Thomas Muller's association with Bayern Munich has ended after 25 long years, but the veteran striker is in no mood to retire.
The Club World Cup was the last tournament that he played for the Bavarians, bringing an end to an illustrious career as Bayern Munich lost to PSG in the quarterfinals.
While there's uncertainty around his future, clubs in Major League Soccer have made approaches to sign the 35-year-old this summer.
Interestingly, reports in Australia via the Sydney Morning Herald suggest that A-League outfit Sydney FC have shown interest in the 35-year-old.
Sydney FC have been in discussions with Muller despite knowing strong interest from MLS, as they believe bringing Muller to A-League could be groundbreaking for football in Australia.
Muller reportedly favours a move to the United States, but Sydney FC have thrown their name in the race, and hence the 35-year-old has been impressed by Sydney FC's approach.

How are Bayern Munich playing a role in deciding Muller's future?
While Muller has left Bayern, the German champions are still looking to help him as they want him to join their partner team, Los Angeles FC, in the MLS.

According to recent reports via Abendzeitung, Bayern are working on Muller's move to LAFC as they are helping the MLS outfit get together a package that would entice Muller.
If the move materialises, Muller would be the brand ambassador for Bayern and LAFC in the United States just a year ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
LAFC, earlier had made an approach to the 35-year-old, which he instantly rejected as it was far off from his demands.
It remains to be seen if he moves to the MLS or the A-League, and even if he moves to the United States, whether he joins LAFC or not.
