High-flying Barcelona look to solidify their position at the top of the La Liga table this weekend as they travel to the Mestalla for a visit with Valencia on Sunday.
Three victories from three to begin the league season have Barcelona sitting atop the table, level on points with Real Madrid as the only two perfect teams so far but already holding a two-goal differential advantage. Barcelona have won all three games by multi-goal margins, including a 5-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano last time out which saw both Raphinha and Lamine Yamal score twice.
Valencia, on the other hand, have experienced a terrible start to the campaign, with two defeats from their first three matches, leaving them with just a single point thus far. A 3-1 defeat at newly-promoted Deportivo last time out was the latest setback, a game which saw the side embarrassingly put the ball in their own net twice.
