Brenden Aaronson hit his 50-cap milestone, while Tyler Adams, Damion Downs, and Johnny Cardoso all made their first Gold Cup appearances of 2025. Veteran defender Ricardo Ade is set to earn his 50th cap, while goalkeeper Johny Placide just made his 75th appearance. Frantzdy Pierrot provided an early spark with his goal versus Trinidad, but Haiti's hopes suffered a blow when Mondy Prunier missed a late penalty that could’ve sealed a win.
