The USMNT heads into their final Group B match against Haiti with momentum and control. After back-to-back wins and clean sheets, Mauricio Pochettino’s side only needs a draw to top the group but will likely aim to finish with a perfect record. With steady possession-based play and a defense that’s yet to be breached in this Gold Cup, the Americans are starting to find rhythm after a rocky lead-up to the tournament.

Historically, they've dominated this matchup, unbeaten in nine straight meetings with Haiti, and scoring first has been their winning formula, as they've won 21 consecutive Gold Cup games when opening the scoring.

Haiti, meanwhile, are hanging on by a thread. A 1-1 draw with Trinidad and Tobago kept their knockout hopes alive, but they’ll need to beat the US and get help elsewhere in the group to advance. Down to 10 men for more than half the match last time out, Sebastien Migné’s squad showed grit but will need far more clinical edge to upset the Americans. They’ve lost their last two meetings with the US 1-0 and haven’t beaten them in over 50 years.

Here's everything you need to know about USMNT vs. Haiti, including TV channel and streaming options for their Gold Cup clash.

USMNT vs. Haiti lineups, team news

The USMNT will likely monitor Haji Wright closely as he continues to nurse an Achilles issue that kept him out of the matchday two win. Mauricio Pochettino opted for lineup continuity with an unchanged XI, but rotated key names off the bench.

Brenden Aaronson hit his 50-cap milestone, while Tyler Adams, Damion Downs, and Johnny Cardoso all made their first Gold Cup appearances of 2025. Chris Richards was the match-winner with his second international goal, and Matt Freese remained largely untested en route to another clean sheet, his second of the tournament.

USMNT predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Freese (GK) — Freeman, Zimmerman, Robinson, Tolkin — Berhalter, Adams — McGlynn, B. Aaronson, Tillman — White.

Injured: Wright (doubt)
Suspended: None

Haiti, on the other hand, will be without suspended defender Jean-Kevin Duverne after his straight red card in the first half against Trinidad. Ruben Providence could retain his spot in the starting lineup, having come in for Christopher Attys last time out.

Veteran defender Ricardo Ade is set to earn his 50th cap, while goalkeeper Johny Placide just made his 75th appearance. Frantzdy Pierrot provided an early spark with his goal versus Trinidad, but Haiti's hopes suffered a blow when Mondy Prunier missed a late penalty that could’ve sealed a win.

Haiti predicted XI (4-2-3-1 right to left): Placide (GK) — Arcus, Ade, Metusala, Experience — Deedson, Pierre, Jacques, Prunier — Nazon, Pierrot.

Injured: None
Suspended: Duverne
