The French superstar led Los Blancos to a resounding victory with three goals against Real Sociedad on Wednesday, helping Jose Mourinho's side to a 4-1 win and placing Mbappe back atop the La Liga goal scoring chart where he finished last season, winning his second straight Pichichi award.
The win made it two-from-two for Mourinho to begin his second stint in charge of Madrid, although both victories were not without their challenges.
Malaga, meanwhile, have yet to win a game, having been beaten 2-0 by Atletico Madrid on opening day followed by a 1-1 draw with newly-promoted Deportivo in a match full of missed opportunities.
