The two best teams in the American League are set to meet in the ALDS, making for an exciting battle to headline the AL playoffs.
The Yankees made it through after dispatching their rival Red Sox 2-0 in the Wild Card series, as New York outscored Boston 18-2 in those two games. That is despite missing Aaron Judge, while Giancarlo Stanton didn't appear in either game as well.
Still, the Rays are the team to beat in the American League following a 98-win season. Tampa Bay has a strong pitching staff as always, but its lineup features sluggers Junior Caminero and Jonathan Aranda, along with a plethora of speed threats.
The Rays won the season series 7-6 over the Yankees in the regular season, securing the AL East division title in the process.
