There's no bigger event in golf than the Masters, but before the tournament gets underway we have the the annual Masters Par 3 Contest on Wednesday.
Players will compete on a nine-hole course in Augusta, and the golfer with the best score against par will win the event. The holes of the Par 3 Contest course range from 70 to 155 yards, a layout that has led to over 100 holes-in-one throughout the tournament's history.
Since the inception of the Masters Par 3 Contest in 1960, a winner of the contest has never gone on to win the Masters later that weekend. After all, it is a relaxed competition ahead of the high-stakes fight for the green jacket. Some players even allow their caddies to take putts and choose not to keep an official tally.
The Sporting News has all the details on how to watch the 2026 Masters Par 3 Contest.
