Liverpool look to continue their push towards a top-eight spot in the Champions League standings as they host La Liga side Villarreal on Tuesday at Anfield.

The Reds have won each of their first two league phase games of the 2026/27 season, defeating Atletico Madrid back in September and then LASK last week. They are one of nine teams to have the maximum six points through the first two matches of the stage.

Villarreal, who sit 12th in the La Liga table through the first nine games of the season, have three points in Champions League play so far, narrowly losing to Borussia Dortmund in their opener before beating Napoli last week at home.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the weekly schedule.
