After a disappointing weekend, a struggling Liverpool squad will hit the road to take on LASK in a Champions League clash on Wednesday.
Liverpool are recovering from 3-0 home loss to Man City on Sunday — a defeat that stings worse given City's current controversy. Andoni Iraola's squad is undergoing a major transition this year, but they are still the projected winners for Wednesday's matchup. Can the Merseysiders stay unbeaten against Austrian teams?
LASK had jumped out to an impressive domestic streak of seven straight wins prior to matchday one of Champions League action, in which they lost to AEK Athens 1-0. They have been on a skid since then, going winless through four matches. They head into this week as slight underdogs, despite having a home advantage.
