The 76ers and Knicks enjoyed their summers for far different reasons. Now, after a long offseason, two of the Eastern Conference's top contenders meet to begin their 2026-27 campaigns.
New York will unveil its championship banner at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night, beginning its quest to go back-to-back after Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns ended the Knicks' title drought in June. From their parade, to Brunson hosting "SNL," the Knicks celebrated all offseason — but now, it's time to return to the court.
Philadelphia, meanwhile, debuts its new-look starting five on Tuesday night after one of the wildest offseasons in NBA history. With Jaylen Brown and LeBron James teaming up with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and V.J. Edgecombe, the 76ers boast a starting five deep on star talent, looking to finally break through for a deep playoff run this season.
Here's what you need to know about Tuesday's matchup between the Knicks and 76ers, including broadcast information and start time.
