A Top 25 preseason clash is on tap Friday as No. 23 Kentucky hosts No. 19 Texas Tech in Lexington.

It's the lone exhibition game for the Red Raiders, but it will be a good chance for Grant McCasland to see what he has against quality competition. The key storyline for Texas Tech after making the NCAA tournament five of the last six years is the status of JT Toppin, who tore his ACL in mid-February. His rehab process is ongoing and it sounds like he won't rejoin the Red Raiders until around the start of conference play.

Kentucky has three preseason games on its slate, and this one should provide the best measuring stick on the heels of a 20-point win over Little Rock last week. Transfers Milan Momcilovic (16 points, seven rebounds), Alex Wilkins (11 points) and Zoom Diallo (seven points, five assists, five rebounds) got their feet wet in that one and more reps can only help them work into Mark Pope's system.

It should be a good one at Rupp Arena. Here's all you need to know to tune in.
