After a successful debut last year, the Hoophall Invitational is back with an expanded field for 2026.
On one of the biggest high school basketball weekends of the year, top teams from New England and surrounding states will gather in the home of basketball, Springfield, Mass., to face off in brackets featuring 56 boys' teams and 20 girls' teams.
Among the top attractions are St. Mary's, the top-ranked boys team in Massachusetts according to MaxPreps, which will face New York No. 9 St. Francis Prep; Connecticut No. 2 Staples; and the top four teams in Rhode Island: Barrington, Lincoln, Classical and Bishop Hendricken.
On the girls' side, the headliner is New York's Monsignor Scanlan, which is ranked No. 22 nationally by MaxPreps and bubbling under the top 25 in the latest Sporting News rankings.

Where to watch Hoophall Invitational 2026

The 2026 Hoophall Invitational will not air on a national TV channel. You can stream most of the action on NFHS Network, with a handful of games set to stream on BallerTV.
The NFHS Network offers two basic plans: an Annual Pass ($6.67 per month) or a Monthly Pass ($13.99 per month). These plans give subscribers the ability to watch live sporting events and create clips of their favorite moments from games.
Hoophall Invitational schedule 2026
- Dates: Saturday, Jan. 17 - Sunday, Jan. 18
The Hoophall Invitational high school basketball showcase will start on Saturday, Jan. 17 and conclude on Sunday, Jan. 18. Games will be played at eight schools around the Springfield, Mass., area.
Pool play will take place on Saturday, while third-place games and finals will be played Sunday. See the full game schedule below:
