Flamengo and Esperance de Tunis are set to face off in a historic first-ever competitive clash between Brazilian and Tunisian clubs at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, with Group D action unfolding at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
Flamengo arrive as heavy favorites, and their current form justifies the tag. They've lost just once in their last 20 Brazilian Serie A matches and have scored 24 goals in 11 games this season. Playmaker Giorgian de Arrascaeta has been particularly lethal, contributing to 13 goals in nine appearances, and could once again be the difference-maker.
Esperance, however, are no pushovers.
