Philadelphia Roman Catholic's brutal season-opening schedule continues Friday with a visit to Maryland to face unbeaten DeMatha.
The Stags are ranked No. 24 nationally by MaxPreps after a 2-0 start and will be the third consecutive national power the Cahillites face. They already have absorbed 20-plus-point losses at St. John Bosco and at home against Don Bosco Prep, leaving them hungry for a result as they travel to DeMatha.
DeMatha had a narrow escape in Philadelphia last week with a 21-20 win over Imhotep Charter and will look to keep rolling Friday. Auburn-bound edge James Pace III leads a stellar Stags defense that also includes a pair of four-star juniors in defensive lineman Nikolas Stevens and corner Langston Pridgeon.
