The Demon Deacons (15-1) dropped their opening game of the season to Houston and haven't lost since, though they had faced only one other power-conference team before opening ACC play with a home sweep of Stanford over the weekend.

Wake has been an offensive juggernaut, with a team OPS of .975. Dalton Wentz was a freshman All-America last year and has been even better in this campaign, posting a 1.224 OPS with seven doubles, five home runs and 20 RBIs through 16 games.
