By now, it's likely safe to say that the 2026 season is trending in far different directions for the Chiefs and Chargers.
After a rare down year in 2025, Kansas City looks like one of the AFC's best once again, with Patrick Mahomes playing well at full health, Kenneth Walker adding a dynamic threat to the run game and the Chiefs' experience shining each week.
Los Angeles, though, comes into the AFC West squads' Week 6 matchup still winless, in the midst of a likely lost season at 0-5. Jim Harbaugh and Justin Herbert could use an upset divisional win to stop the bleeding.
