Hoping the extended international break provides the club with a clean line of demarkation to put the early struggles behind them, Chelsea return to Premier League action with a home match against Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Blues have won just two of their first five league games of the 2026/27 season, including none of their last three, leaving them 10th in the standings through the opening portion of the campaign. Head coach Xabi Alonso has struggled to find the winning formula as the club goes through a period of transition with significant personnel changes.
They meet the Cherries who have been extremely poor to begin the campaign, without a single win on their hands as of yet, drawing three while losing two.
The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the weekly schedule.
