Where Mormon Wives’ Jessi and Jordan Stand Amid Breakup Speculation

Lisa Vanderpump and Stassi Schroeder Tease “Messy” Drama in Season 2 of ‘Vanderpump Villa’ (Exclusive)

This story contains spoilers from season two of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Jessi Ngatikaura is in the hot seat.

Amid speculation that she and her husband Jordan Ngatikaura are headed for a breakup after four years of marriage, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star admitted her relationship isn’t perfect.

“I will say that reality TV is hard on any relationship—whether it’s a friendship or a marriage,” Jessi said on the May 20 episode of The Viall Files podcast. “We’re working through things and we’re trying our best, but things are a little tricky right now.”

During the season two finale of the Hulu reality series, Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette alleged that he and Jessi, 32, began an affair after she and her costars made a guest appearance on his show. While she did not confirm or deny the allegations on the podcast, she insisted that there’s “so much more to the story.”

“Relationships are hard and they’re nuanced,” Jessi—who was not wearing her wedding ring during the interview—continued. “There’s so much more that I’m excited to share because I think people will be able to relate to my story and I think it may help people.”

While the reality star was vague about the current state of her marriage, she didn’t mince words when asked if Jordan—with whom she shares kids Jagger, 5, and Jovi, 2, as well as Jordan’s daughter Peyton, 12, from a previous relationship—was a good role model for their girls.

“No,” she said frankly. “There’s been a lot that’s happened and I think that he and I are both willing to work on things and change, but maybe he should be asked that question because that might wake him up.”

Despite the ongoing drama, Jordan appeared to have a hopeful outlook about his marriage in a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute to Jessi on social media, calling his wife “the heart of our family.”

“Through all of life’s ups and downs, I still choose you,” he wrote in a post on Instagram May 11. “I still love you every single day.”
