Where is Josh Allen in latest QB power rankings?

The Buffalo Bills have started the year 2-0, with Sean McDermott's team showing that they can win in different ways.

The high-scoring offensive performance in Week 1, thanks to Josh Allen and then James Cook and the run game, was key to the blowout win over the New York Jets, with Allen again playing a solid role in the win.

Through two weeks, No. 17 has thrown for 542 yards and two touchdowns, no interceptions, while rushing for 89 yards and two touchdowns to be one of the best quarterbacks in football.

But in Cody Benjamin's quarterback rankings for CBS Sports, is Josh No. 1?

Not quite, coming in at No. 2 behind Lamar Jackson.

"He did the reverse Lamar Jackson to guide the Bills' 2-0 start, opening the year with heroic situational passing, then turning on the jets as a scrambler to rout the Jets," Benjamin wrote. "He and Jackson always make the top of the AFC must-see TV."

Allen and Bills can take stranglehold on AFC East in Week 3

The Bills face the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football and have already beaten the Jets, and have a chance to further solidify their case as the bullies of the division.

Additionally, the chance to perhaps end Miami's playoff hopes before they even begin is a juicy carrot for Buffalo, with the Dolphins sitting at 0-2.

Allen is 12-2 all-time vs. the Dolphins, throwing for 37 touchdowns and just eight interceptions, so he likes playing Miami, and we get the sense that his good form will continue as the Bills should move to 3-0 and slay two divisional opponents.

Of course, the game isn't played on paper, but with Allen in this type of form, you will be hard-pressed to find many people picking against the AFC East bullies here.
