Brad Pitt still has “strained” relationships with his and Angelina Jolie’s kids, according to a new report.
The actor remains estranged from most of his children despite “several efforts to reconnect” — and this has “caused him a lot of heartbreak,” a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday.
The outlet claimed Pitt, 61, “carries … a deep emotional weight” regarding his family.
As for where he currently stands with Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, he reportedly only sees his youngest two children “periodically.”
The insider alleged, “The rest of the relationships are strained.”
Reps for Pitt and Jolie have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

The former couple’s big brood was present at their 2014 wedding, and the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” co-stars called it quits two years after the nuptials.
While the duo were declared legally single in 2019, they did not settle their contentious divorce until December 2024.
At the time, Jolie’s lawyer James Simon told Page Six, “Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
When asked if he felt “relief” over the legal update in May, Pitt insisted to GQ it wasn’t “that major of a thing.”
Last week, he admitted to “Entertainment Tonight” that he made “mistakes” — but “learn[ing] from” them made him feel “grounded.”
The actress, for her part, has credited her children with helping her navigate the bitter split, which occurred after a 2016 plane incident.
“Having children saved me,” the 50-year-old explained in a 2023 Vogue interview. “I think, recently, I would’ve gone under in a much darker way had I not wanted to live for them.”
The Oscar winner noted that they all had “a lot of healing to do.”
Although her little ones have not spoken out about Pitt, they have made headlines over the years for subtle digs.
Maddox, notably, said that “whatever happens, happens” when asked about the status of his father-son relationship.
On Shiloh’s 18th birthday, the teen filed to drop Pitt’s surname — and was listed as “Shi Jolie” in choreographer credits earlier this month.
Vivienne also kept only Jolie’s maiden name in the “Outsiders” Playbill in May 2024.
Zahara did the same in her sorority introduction the previous year.
Nevertheless, Page Six reported in 2024 that Pitt hopes to “forge” bonds with the kids as they “get older and have a life of their own.”
