Spring is finally here, and what better way to celebrate that than with the sexy, outrageous new Wuthering Heights movie, which is coming to digital platforms to buy and rent tomorrow.

Written and directed by Emerald Fennell (Saltburn, Promising Young Woman), this new take on a classic novel is exactly has outlandish as you’d expect an Emerald Fennell-directed Wuthering Heights movie to be. Oscar-nominated actress Margot Robbie stars as Catherine “Cathy” Earnshaw, the daughter of a wealthy, land-owning English family, who falls in love with her family’s lower-class foster son, Heathcliff (played by Jacob Elordi, who also starred in Fennell’s Saltburn). The adaptation also features Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton, Alison Oliver as Isabella Linto, Martin Clunes as Mr. Earnshaw, and Ewan Mitchell as Joseph.

Considered a “loose” adaptation of Emily Brontë’s famed 1847 novel, the 2026 Wuthering Heights movie was met with mixed reviews. But the box office numbers—over $236.3 million worldwide—show that the film was a hit, at least financially. If you didn’t get a chance to see the movie in theaters, you’ll soon be able to buy or rent it online. But before you do that, you should know that we expect to see the new Wuthering Heights movie streaming on HBO Max soon.

Where to watch the Wuthering Heights 2026 movie on streaming:

Wuthering Heights 2026 will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms on Tuesday, March 31 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also 9 p.m. Pacific Time on March 30). You’ll be able to buy and rent digitally on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the movie will cost $24.99 to buy, and $19.99 to rent. If you rent the movie, you’ll have 48 hours to view after hitting “play.”

Wuthering Heights 2026 will also release on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on May 5. Both the digital and physical releases of the new Wuthering Heights movie will come with bonus features, including making-of featurettes and an audio commentary with writer/director Emerald Fennell. (Bonus content may vary depending on which retailer you use to purchase the film.)

Wuthering Heights 2026 is not yet available on a subscription-based streaming service, but we do expect to see the Wuthering Heights 2026 movie streaming on HBO Max, free to HBO Max subscribers eventually, because Wuthering Heights 2026 is a Warner Bros. movie, and HBO Max is the streamer owned by Warner Bros.

All the new WB theatrical movies end up streaming on Max, though the wait period has varied by title. One Battle After Another, for example, was released on PVOD about a month-and-a-half after opening in theaters, and began streaming on HBO Max about two-and-a-half months after it was released in theaters. If Wuthering Heights follows a similar release pattern, you may see Wuthering Heights 2026 streaming on HBO Max around late April 2026.

But that’s pure speculation. The Warner Bros. home releases have varied by title. In the meantime, you can always watch Wuthering Heights 2026 by buying or renting the movie online.
