The toys are back, and facing a battle of technological proportions.
Pixar and dropped the trailer for Toy Story 5, which sees the return of Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and the rest of the gang as they confront their biggest competition in pursuit of Bonnie’s (Scarlett Spears) love and affection: her new Lilypad smart tablet (Greta Lee).
The toys struggle to capture Bonnie’s attention, as play time falls victim to screen time. Jessie solicits Woody’s help, and the cowboy returns with a shiny surprise—a bald spot on his head.
“Someone needs a brown marker,” Trixie (Kristen Schaal) teases.
Will the toys best the surge of technology, despite the wear and tear? You will have to wait and find out! As for when Toy Story hits theaters, here is what we know.
