When and where to watch the 2025 Melon Music Awards live online? Full Performance lineup, presenters, nominees & all you need to know 

The 17th Melon Music Awards will be held on December 20 in Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul. This year’s affair is organized by Kakao Entertainment. The official theme for MMA2025 is “Play the Moment.” The red carpet broadcast will begin at 4 pm on Saturday, while the main awards show will follow at 5 pm.

International viewers can watch the ceremony through the 1theK YouTube channel. The stream, however, will not be available in Korea, Japan, or Germany. But viewers in Korea can access the broadcast directly on Melon. Wavve users will also be able to watch for free using the Wavve LIVE channel. Later, the replay service will be offered after the show ends.

Melon Music Awards focus heavily on digital streaming results. In it, physical album sales are not considered for top prizes. Streaming data carries 60 percent weight for major awards. Meanwhile, judges and fan voting each contribute 20 percent. Record of the Year is chosen only by judges, purely on artistic merit.
