What we’re hearing on Knicks contract extensions and summer departures

Thanks to an extended (and much-needed) vacation, I’ve had a long layoff between writing this newsletter.

Which also means there’s backlogged information. And while August (plus most of September) is the quietest time of the NBA news cycle, there were some Knicks developments (or lack thereof) to address.

Here are three:

Unresolved extensions

Karl-Anthony Towns and Miles McBride became eligible for extensions in early July. Josh Hart became eligible in early August.
