Fasten your seat belts as the South Point 400, the first race of round 8 of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, kicks off on October 12.  

With 267 laps over the 1.5-mile quad-oval and 8 drivers in the list, the stakes couldn't be higher, as the winner of this race will directly qualify for the Championship 4. This race will feature two additional drivers this week as Katherine Legge and JJ Yeley are set to return at Las Vegas. Legge is set to return for her first Cup Series start since August.

The race will be held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas Valley, Nevada. Stage 1 ends at Lap 80. Stage 2 ends at Lap 165. Stage 3 ends at Lap 267.
