Sunday night marked the biggest game of Caleb Williams' professional football career.
With a trip to the NFC Championship Game on the line, the Chicago Bears star had an opportunity to advance in the playoffs against a star-studded Los Angeles Rams squad. Head coach Ben Johnson even showed some early confidence in Williams, going for it on an opening-drive fourth down.
However, not only did that play result in an interception for Williams, but he appeared to injure his throwing hand in the process.

What's wrong with Caleb Williams' finger?
Williams came into Sunday's NFC Divisional matchup with a clean bill of health, but it only took a few plays for him to walk off the field in some pain.
On an opening-drive 4th & 2 in Rams territory, Johnson sent his offense back out instead of taking a field goal. Williams was looking for Colston Loveland, but his pass sailed over the tight end's head and was picked off.
Williams was then seen walking off the field grabbing at his right hand, which is his throwing hand. A review of the play showed that Williams' hand hit against a Rams defender as he was throwing the pass.
Williams was also hit in the helmet on the play, but roughing the passer was not called.
