What position does Taysom Hill play?
Hill is listed as a tight end on the Saints' official website. However, he is more than just a TE.
The 34-year-old is the definition of a utility player in the NFL. He is the Saints' Swiss Army knife, called upon to sometimes catch the ball as a tight end, run the ball as a running back, or even throw the ball as a quarterback.
Hill played QB at BYU from 2012-16, but even during his college days, he showed off his athleticism in the run game. When he was first signed by New Orleans, he was used on special teams, a role he still plays for the team. However, he now also acts as a runner, passer, and receiver.
