Before giving birth to Saga Blade, the Jennifer's Body star suffered a miscarriage. She revealed the experience during an interview with Good Morning America in November 2023, saying that she never thought something like that would happen to her, especially since she already had three kids.
Fox also recalled the pregnancy loss when she announced her pregnancy in November 2024, saying that "nothing is ever really lost." Their newborn joins the My Ex's Best Friend rocker's daughter from a previous relationship, Casie, and Megan Fox's kids with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey.
Megan Fox's Jennifer's Body to get a sequel with one condition
Megan Fox's cult horror Jennifer's Body was released in 2009, and with the movie nearing its 20th anniversary, chatter about a sequel has been going on. Amanda Seyfried, who also starred in the film as the wallflower best friend to Fox's titular role, has the updates about the possible sequel project.
During the June 9 episode of Variety's Actors on Actors, Seyfried reunited with her Jennifer's Body costar Adam Brody. They talked about their respective projects as well as the sequel to their 2009 classic. Seyfried confirmed that Jennifer's Body 2 is in the works.
"We're making another one," she said. The Mamma Mia actress then asked Brody if he was going to reprise his role as Nikolai, the Low Shoulder band's lead singer in the original movie. However, the actor said that he hadn't been contacted yet and explained that his character died in the original film.
Seyfried replied that Megan Fox also died in the first movie, but she's not doing the sequel without her. The Long Bright River actress claimed that it's her one condition, saying:
"You did die! But so did Megan, and I'm not doing it without her."When Adam Brody said that he's not sure his character warrants a return in the sequel despite the supernatural elements in the story, Seyfried suggested that he could return to play the devil.
It wasn't the first time that the Jennifer's Body cast and crew shared snippets about a possible sequel to the cult classic. Diablo Cody, who wrote the script for the first movie, said in an exclusive interview with ComicBook, published on January 30, 2024, that she wants to bring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried back for a sequel.
"I mean I would love to bring Megan and Amanda back—that would be ideal. I want to go back to that world so badly that I've thought of various permutations that we could do," she said.Cody also shared that beyond a possible sequel, they could also do a prequel or even a musical.
