Mark Andrews has been a star for the Baltimore Ravens for a long time.
But that doesn't appear to be the case anymore.
Andrews is off to a mightily slow start to the 2025 NFL season, and that's even with fellow TE Isaiah Likely out with an injury.
The veteran tight end has just two total catches through seven yards through two games. And that's despite the Ravens scoring a combined 81 points.
Over his first seven seasons, Andrews averaged 62 catches for 790 yards and 7 TDs. It'd take a major turnaround to approach his career averages this time around.

What happened to Mark Andrews?
The 30-year old Mark Andrews appears to be in decline, and the Ravens also don't appear to be prioritizing throwing him the ball anymore.
ESPN's Jamison Hensley believes this might be the beginning of the end:
"Andrews has surprisingly not been part of the Ravens' game plan, recording two catches for 7 yards in the first two games of the season. He used to be Lamar Jackson's favorite target, but he has a total of four targets despite tight end Isaiah Likely being sidelined with a foot injury. Andrews, 30, just isn't getting many opportunities, running 38 routes, which ranks 24th among tight ends. It's difficult to think Andrews' target share will increase going forward, especially with Likely expected to return in the next couple of weeks."

The lack of targets (just four through two games) is as telling as anything.
Jackson doesn't look Andrews' way anymore. This might be the new normal.
