Junior Caminero found his way to an injury you've never seen before.

The Tampa Bay Rays superstar hit a foul ball on Tuesday night down off the dirt that bounced right up and hit him in the right side of his face.

He went down in pain.

It appeared to have hit his jaw and avoided his eye or his earring.

Caminero got checked out by the athletic trainer and manager Kevin Cash for a few minutes.

He's clearly going to be feeling this one for a while.

The good news is he stayed in the game. He grounded out and hardly ran down the line.

His night may not last the whole way.
