Olivia Dean publicly called out Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and AEG about inflated resale ticket prices for shows on her upcoming tour. The singer took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, November 21, to express her frustration with the ticketing industry and what her fans have been experiencing getting resale tickets for her upcoming shows.
She tagged Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and AEG Presents on her IG Story, saying:
"You are providing a disgusting service. The prices at which you're allowing tickets to be re-sold is vile and completely against our wishes. Live music should be affordable and accessible and we need to find a new way of making that possible. BE BETTER."Her comments came after a previous Instagram Story addressed to her fans, saying that her team is looking into the issue about ticket re-selling and pricing. She called the issue "frustrating," saying that the last thing she wanted was for anyone to get scammed or overcharged for attending her show.
Olivia Dean also told her fans to be wary of buying tickets anywhere other than reputable platforms, like in the comment sections, because they are likely a scam. The ticketing issue arose after general tickets for her shows in her upcoming Art of Loving Live tour went on sale this morning.
According to Variety, some fans have expressed their frustration online about the tickets, from waiting behind tens of thousands of others in digital queues to verified tickets being resold at inflated prices.
Olivia Dean's $750+ concert ticket was a "typo"; Ticketmaster apologizes
Olivia Dean's The Art of Loving tour kicks off in April 2026, which will see her touring the UK first. She announced back in August that most of her UK concerts have been sold out, including the back-to-back opening shows at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on April 22, 2026.

But while her fans clamor to get tickets to watch her shows in the US, some fans were outraged over the $750+ tickets for upper-level seating for her Boston show. But according to Ticketmaster, it was a "typo."
Replying to a fan on X calling the $753.45 Balcony ticket "crazy" on November 19, Ticketmaster wrote:
"Thanks for catching this. The price was a type. It has been fixed to reflect the correct $53.45 all in price, and any refunds for the difference have already been issued."It's not the only time Ticketmaster responded to issues regarding Olivia Dean's ticket prices. Following the singer's call-out to Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and AEG on her Instagram Stories, the former reshared Dean's message on Instagram. They share their support for artists being able to set the terms of how their tickets are being sold and resold.
Ticketmaster also tagged Dean, adding that they will "cap resale prices on our site at face value" and hope that other resale sites will follow suit.
According to Variety, resale tickets for Olivia Dean's upcoming tour appear to have been taken down on all sites.
