Nicki Minaj and Cardi B were involved in a social media feud on X after the release of the latter's latest album, Am I The Drama?. Minaj commented on Cardi's album and its pricing, and she responded. Both took shots at each other on X, including Minaj commenting on Cardi's pregancy as she's expected her first child with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
Diggs was also dragged into Minaj and Cardi's feud owing to his relationship with the Bodak Yellow rapper. Last Sunday (October 5), Stefon Diggs faced his former NFL team, Buffalo Bills for the first time since leaving them to join New England Patriots last spring. He faced brutal booes in the stadium as he represented the Patriots, but eventually led his side to a 23-20 victory.
During the game, former NFL legend and ESPN commentator Ryan Clark poked fun at Stefon Diggs by alluding to Cardi and Minaj's beef. He said:
"If Stefon Diggs is Cardi B, then the Buffalo Bills were Nicki Minaj."Nicki Minaj and Cardi B's recent feud on X explained

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B has shared a controversial relationship with each other over the years. However, things escalated once again in recent weeks, when Minaj seemingly dissed the prices of Cardi's new album.
The rapper posted "$4.99" on X, which was seemingly a reference to iTunes' promotional price for Cardi's album, Am I The Drama?. The sophomore album has debuted No 1 on the Billboard 200. Nicki further dissed the album as she mocked the lyrics of one of the tracks on it, Magnet. She wrote on X:
"Abcdefgeeeeeeee / SUR GER REE TO LOOK LIKE MEEEEEE / tell the rat & tell J ZEEEEEE / Rico Fraud & PERJURY."In another follow-up tweet, Minaj wrote:
"Fallin off the charts wit a big bellyyyy / RUNNING TRAINS. Barefoot, still smellyyyyy / Still. You. Could. Not. outsell. meeeeee."In response, Cardi B posted a series of X posts directed towards Nicki Minaj. The rapper referred to her as "Cocaine Barbie" and "bored b*tch", and also released a new version of Magnet, aiming the lyrics directly at her.
In another X post, Cardi seemingly responded to Nicki by indicating that she should not compete with her and rather focus on other artists, such as Drake and Taylor Swift. She wrote:
"Why you keep bringing up my album?? It's not the gag that you think it is. You been in the game like 16 years.. you need to compare yourself to YOUR peers that started around YOUR time. Rihanna, Taylor swift, Drake…those are the numbers you need to be competing wit and you can't cuz you doing lower than all of them… I was in high school when you came out wtf is you comparing yourself to me for???"Why you keep bringing up my album?? Minaj also seemingly took a dig at Cardi's pregnancy. The singer is expecting her fourth child and her first one with Stefon Diggs. Nicki wrote:
"Raw doggin pregnant wit da 4th babeeee Barney B. BV. HPVeeeeee Allegedlyyyyyyyyyyyy."In response, Cardi also took a dig at Minaj, seemingly mocking her alleged fertility issues. She wrote on X:
"Alright now this the third tweet talkin about my pregnancy… like you wasn’t going to different fertility doctors cuz you couldn’t reproduce from all them percs scrambling your eggs. NOT ALLEGEDLY…Lord protect my babies."Nicki Minaj continued to fire shots back at Cardi B, mocking her for using "fertility issues", as it is not "something to be used as a drag".
Also let me say this, tho I have never had fertility issues, it’s not something to be used as a drag. Until you know the women who are actually living that pain, blaming themselves—we could only imagine & pray for them, love them, uplift them. Not use these women as a punch line
The feud continued for a few days, before dying down as of this writing. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj's feud originally began in 2017, but has gone through ups and downs over time. Further updates are awaited.
