A collection of the best horses the sport has to offer will compete in the first leg of the Triple Crown on Saturday. Twenty horses will make the trip to Louisville, Ky., and chase down the title at the 151st Kentucky Derby.
The betting favorite is Journalism (3-1), who won this year's Santa Anita Derby and San Felipe Stakes. Other contenders include Sovereignty (5-1), Sandman (6-1) and Burnham Square (12-1).
The 1 1/4-mile race features a $5 million purse with the winner receiving a prize of $3.1 million. Which horse will cross the finish line first at "The Run for the Roses"?
