Game 5 marks San Antonio's first chance to return to the second round of playoff action since 2017.
After clearing concussion protocol, Victor Wembanyama was back for Game 4, and his presence was clearly missed. Wembanyama had 27 points and 12 rebounds, but also led the Spurs defense with 7 blocks to hold the Blazers to 93.
Wembanyama was not the leading scorer for the Spurs, however, with De'Aaron Fox dropping 28 points. The Blazers had two 20-point threats in the game, with Deni Avdija scoring 26 and Jrue Holiday with 20.
Looking forward to Game 5, the Blazers have an uphill battle. Less than 5% of teams have come back from a 3-1 series deficit in the playoffs.
The key to the Blazers' one victory this series was a 31-point masterclass from Scoot Henderson, who went 0-7 from the floor in Game 4. If the Blazers want to turn things around, Henderson may be the X factor.
