No. 2 Penn State will look to maintain its status as one of the best teams in college football with a home matchup against Villanova on Saturday.
The Nittany Lions are 2-0 after easy wins over Nevada and FIU. The Wildcats, meanwhile, are 1-0 after a win over Colgate in their first game of the year.
Penn State's defensive excellence has been on full display over the first two weeks, as the Nittany Lions have allowed just 11 total points this season. Quarterback Drew Allar has been stellar as well, racking up 417 passing yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.
Transfer quarterback Pat McQuaide looked great in his Villanova debut after two seasons at Nicholls. McQuaide passed for 299 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown against Colgate.
