Young quarterbacks face off in Lincoln as No. 21 Michigan heads to Nebraska in the Big Ten opener for both teams.
The Wolverines opened up the playbook for five-star freshman Bryce Underwood last Saturday in a 60-point demolition of Central Michigan. Underwood ran for 114 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 235 yards and another score, compiling his best performance to date.
He'll look to fare better in his second true road game, following an underwhelming loss in Norman against Oklahoma a few weeks back. Notably, Michigan will be led by interim head coach Biff Poggi, as Sherrone Moore serves the second and final game of a self-imposed suspension.
Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola — a former five-star himself — looks to make a statement for the undefeated Cornhuskers. Raiola has thrown for 829 yards and eight touchdowns, with no interceptions, through his first three games. His sophomore campaign is off to a flawless start.
