SWAC play will finally get underway this weekend with a classic rivalry matchup between Jackson State and Southern.
Undefeated through three games, Jackson State will be looking to prove themselves as a true conference competitor on Saturday. The Tigers, coached by T.C. Taylor, haven't lost this matchup since 2021. Averaging 44 points and 500 yards per game so far, JSU has what it takes to extend their rivalry winning streak.
Southern is looking to turn the tides though, and with Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk leading the program, a win is not out of the question.
