The Commanders decided, entering the week, that they would shut down starting QB Jayden Daniels for the remainder of the season.
The Eagles are close to locking down the NFC East. A win against the Commanders in Week 16 would clinch the division for them and guarantee them a top-four seed in the NFC playoff picture.
The Eagles went into Week 15 with a three-game losing streak. They matched up with the Raiders and finally started to get things right on both sides of the ball in the 31-0 win. The Eagles will look to ride that momentum into Week 16 against the Commanders.
